Eagles | Owens bonus deadline probably moved

Les Bowen, of the Philadelphia Daily News, reports presumably the Philadelphia Eagles' deadline for paying a roster bonus to WR Terrell Owens is now sometime early next week, but Owens' release could come sooner. The Kansas City Chiefs seem to be emerging as his most likely destination.

Mike Garafolo, of the Star-Ledger, reports free agent LB LaVar Arrington (Redskins) mentioned the New York Giants as a team that was among his top potential destinations during a radio interview Wednesday, March 8. During the radio interview, Arrington confirmed an earlier report in the Star-Ledger when he said he has yet to field offers from any teams and didn't expect to do so until the current labor crisis was settled. In fact, Arrington said that, as of early Wednesday, March 8, he hadn't talked with a single club. "I don't think the franchises are really comprehending that I'm a free agent," he said. "I figure whoever's interested will probably make contact (when free agency begins). Until then, this is all new to me."

i was kinda hoping that arrington would make his way to dallas. that new 3-4 would fit arrington perfectly.

I want him as far away from Dallas as possibly unless he decided to play up to potential. Arrington is the most overrated LB in the NFL.

He wouldnt go to the "hell hole" that is Dallas.

I bet if Jerry offered the Benjamins he would. I just hope it doesn't come to that. I would much rather have a team player like Willie McGinest at a lower price. He would be a great mentor for a lot of the younger players in Big D.

Read in the paper up here that Arrington said "I want to play the Redskins once a year.". Went on to say that Parcells would like to have him in Dallas. The only Arrington gets a pass by me is that he played under 5 different def cord. and something like 4 headcoaches.
